What is Breast Augmentation?
Breast augmentation is also referred to as 'Breast Aug' or 'Breast Job', Mammoplasty, 'Breast Enlargement' or 'Breast Implants'.
In this process a woman’s breasts are enlarged or rejuvenated as per a patient’s requirement. This procedure can also restore breast volume lost after weight reduction or pregnancy, achieve a better breast size equality or more rounded breast shape.
This enhancement is done by using a silicone gel implants or saline implants. In some cases fat from other parts of the body is transferred to the breast, this process is called fat transfer or fat grafting breast augmentation.
What are breasts composed of?
Female breasts comprise three main structures that are positioned above the chest(pectoralis) muscle: skin, fat, and glandular breast tissue (milk ducts and milk-producing glands).
